The Richmond Women’s City Amateur Championship is held every year in June. The first RWGA City Amateur was held in 1926 and has been held every year since, with the exception of 1944, 1945 and 2020. It is usually held at the member clubs in Richmond during the first full week of June. Monday is qualifying day and the Match Play begins on Tuesday. The top qualifiers play in the Championship flight and all others play in flights according to their handicap.

Eligibility: All female players residing in the Richmond and surrounding county area

Format: 18 Hole Qualifying Round followed by Match Play in Flights.  108
players may participate in the qualifying round. The top eighty (80) qualifiers will proceed to
match play.  Players not advancing to match play will receive a refund for two days of cart fees.

Prizes: Winner and Finalist within Flights

Registration Fee:  $113 includes registration cost of $50 for the event and the first three days cart fee.
